Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, while gradual exposure supports facing situations you may have been avoiding. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/tapping) release stored emotional tension, and, if appropriate, EMDR can help reprocess past experiences that contribute to the phobia. Timeline Work can be used to gently explore and release the root causes of fear from past experiences, and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) supports reframing thoughts and responses, creating new, empowering associations with the feared situation.
